Our Story
2006
A Therapy Centre is Born
Holly started Hope for Families Counselling Centre, a small therapy centre focused on client centred care in the Kitchener-Waterloo area.
2015
Registered Psychotherapists
Our profession is regulated in Ontario by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
2017
Expanding Collaborative Care
We became members of the Psychotherapy Matters Virtual Clinic program and teamed up to access psychiatric assessments with our clients.
2018
Expanded Office Space & Team
We moved to an office in Waterloo and started taking students for their therapy practicums. Many former students have since joined our team.
2020
Switch to Virtual Care
When Covid pandemic started, we transitioned to virtual care. This paved the way to our online therapy practice, removing barriers to access and allowing us to provide therapy services across Ontario.
2026
Renaming our Practice
As our team has expanded, we have changed our name to better reflect our group practice with therapists who have a variety of skills, interests, and specializations.

The Future of our Group
As we continue to grow, we bring together a variety of therapists who meet the needs of Ontarians looking for online therapy and mental health support.
Our Identity
Holly Blue Butterfly
Over the past 20 years, butterflies have been essential to our identity. The Holly Blue butterfly represents hope, growth, change and transformation.
