Working Together
Maybe there are some things you’ve been feeling stuck on something recently (work, relationship, friendship, a feeling), or you’ve noticed there’s bend in the road of life that has come up that might leave you feeling unsure of what you do next. In our work together, we can figure out patterns, identify behaviours, and work towards a solution that feels like change can actually happen. Life is constantly changing and it can be hard to keep up.
Therapy is one tool to help guide you to the life you’ve been wanting to live. In our work together, we can develop strategies to help you get to where you want to go. With my experience in working in diverse career paths, I’ve seen people grow and become who they want to be in many different ways. I truly believe that people are capacity of change and recognize how hard it can be to feel ready for it.
One of my greatest strengths is leaning into hearing your story. Working together, we can focus on the ability to listen intently to what is being said to help you discover (or rediscover) and unpack some patterns of behaviour and thoughts that might keep you feeling lost.
I work from a person-centred framework and a culturally sensitive framework. Therapy looks different for every client, but the feeling of being stuck, unable to know what decisions will be useful to us, or what is keeping us there, is a process that can be scary and uncomfortable. It is not always easy to ask for help or communicate our needs or what we are really thinking to someone new. I commend your courage and strength to take the steps to help figure out what is happening for you. I would be honoured to hear your story.
